KINDERNEWS XV (JANUARY - FEBRUARY)

During our Medical Check-Up by Bethsaida Hospital, we had the opportunity to see the doctor. With curious minds and brave smiles, we learned how to care for our bodies while having our eyes, hands, and overall health checked. A wonderful moment of learning and understanding how we can take care of the amazing bodies God has given us.

Chinese New Year was a joyful and exciting celebration for our school community. We had the chance to watch the lion dance (舞狮 – wǔ shī) perform up close and hearing the lively drums. It was an exciting moment as we also gave red envelopes (红包 – hóngbāo) to the performers.

To make the day even more special, we made spring rolls (春卷 – chūn juǎn) together. Through this activity, we learned a little more about Chinese New Year traditions while enjoying the fun of preparing food with our friends. It was a festive day filled with culture, laughter, and memorable experiences for everyone.

Coming up, we’ll highlight our Big Field Trip, Kids Invention Day in March, and the Easter Celebration in April.
