Here's a glimpse of our final project for Nature All Around theme in January 2021, "A science experiment of volcanoes!"
The materials were prepared by the teachers, together with February Home Kit!. The students got a model of a volcano, vinegar, baking soda, food coloring and gloves. Through Zoom, the teacher led the experiment while the students followed. For Preparatory students, they wrote their observations in a journal after the experiment.
From this experiment, critical thinking skills are enhanced while asking why, how, and what questions. The senses engaged in a hands-on Science activity in order to observe closely, ask questions and share ideas thus providing an engaging sensory experience for the children. This Science experiment is just one of the many enjoyable and interesting activities we have this semester.
